Chapter 12: IPv6 DHCP Relay configuration
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) provides host configuration information to the workstations
dynamically. Use the DHCP relay commands to set DHCP relay behavior on a port or on a VLAN.
This section describes the CLI commands for IPv6 DHCP Relay configuration functions in the Avaya
Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600.
To configure DHCP Relay, you can use the config ipv6 dhcp-relay command, which allows you to specify
the IP address of the port or VLAN to use as a relay agent, or use the config {vlan <vid> |
ethernet <ports>} ipv6 dhcp-relay command to explicitly specify the port or VLAN to use as
the relay agent.
