Prerequisites
You must log on to the Global Configuration mode in the ACLI.
Procedure steps
Add an ACE with IPv6 header attributes by using the following command:
filter acl ace ipv6 <acl-id> <ace-id> [dst-ipv6 eq <word>]
[nxt-hdr <eq|ne> <next-header>] [src-ipv6 eq <word>]
Variable definitions
Use the data in the following table to use the filter acl ace ipv6 command.

Adding an ACE with IPv6 header attributes
Specifies an ACE ID in the range 1–1000. To configure
this option to the default value, use the default
operator with the command.
Specifies an ACL ID in the range 1–4096. To configure
this option to the default value, use the default
operator with the command.
Specifies the following:
• an operator for a field match condition—eq
• the list of destination IPv6 addresses separated by
commas
Specifies the following:
• an operator for a field match condition (eq | ne)
• the next header value from one of the following:
fragment|hop-by-hop|icmpv6|ipsecah|ipsecesp|
noHdr|routing|tcp|udp| undefined
Specifies the following:
• an operator for a field match condition—eq
• the list of source IPv6 addresses separated by
commas
