The revision of the secondary processor may be different from the

Installation

Install a CPU according to the following procedure.
See the section Preparing for Upgrade described earlier in this chapter.

Remove the left-hand side access panel as described earlier in this chapter.

Remove the top air duct as described earlier in this chapter.

to populate a terminator in an unused processor socket when
setting up a single processor system; however the processors
must be populated in the correct order for the system to power
on. Therefore, processor socket 1, which is located closest to
the board corner, located directly across from the memory,
must be populated first, before processor socket 2.
Lift the lever on the socket and remove the processor.

Remove the new processor from its antistatic package and place it on a grounded,

Position the processor over the processor socket so that its pins align with the socket holes.
