MWA

MWA is an application that enables the remote management of the server through a management
PC over the network. (A management PC is a computer running ESMPRO Manager.) This
application assists in reducing responsibility of the administrator for managing the operation of the
server.
A management PC running MWA must be connected to the server via LAN, WAN, or direct
connection for the remote management through MWA.

The COM B port or LAN 1 port is used for communication between the

Base Management Controller (BMC) in the server and the management
PC. See Chapter 1 for connector location.
To establish communication between the server and the management PC

via the COM B port, use the BIOS setup utility to switch the parameters
of "Console Redirection" in the "Server" menu to the same settings as
the parameters on MWA. For details of MWA, refer to online
documentation "MWA First Step Guide" stored in the
EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM.
