POST Error Messages

When POST detects an error, it displays an error message on the display unit. The following table
lists error messages, descriptions and actions to take.

Description
Hard disk failure.
Keyboard connection error.
Keyboard error.
Keyboard controller error.
Keyboard is locked.
The monitor type is not consistent
with CMOS data entered during
system setup.
System RAM error.
Shadow RAM error.
Action
Call your service
representative.
Disconnect and reconnect the
keyboard.
If the same error still occurs,
call your service
representative.
This is not an error when
booting the system with the
keyboard disconnected.
