gagement).
NLP Tune Option 2 (Reduced level of NLP en-
gagement).
For applications where the default NLP level causes
unpleasant voice artifacts (like
choppiness at the beginning of the call in heavy double
talk situations), the Host may
select the NLP Tune Option 2 setting to reduce the level
of NLP engagement.
NLP Tune Option 1 (Increased level of NLP en-
gagement).
For certain 2-to-4 wire hybrid or line conditions where a
larger than normal non-linear
component in the echo is present, the Host may select
the NLP Tune Option 1 setting for
an increased level of NLP engagement in order to pro-
vide an adequate echo control
performance. The normal non-linear echo component is
defined to be at a level
comparable to that from G.711 companding (for exam-
ple, in G.168, the only non-linear
component considered in the echo is G.711 compand-
ing only).
NOTE: This option take effect only when EC is ON.
This option is used to program the digital gain control for
the Mindspeed Comcerto Device "Decoder-to-EC" sig-
nal path, when voice decoding is active.
Set EC gain value. The range is 18~38 (-14 dB ~ +6 dB)
Network Echo Canceller Tail Length (HECLEN).
Used to set the Echo Canceller configuration..
Echo Canceller Tail Length is adjustable from 8 ms to
128 ms, in 8 ms increments.
Set EC Tail length. The range is 8~128 ms.
There are three types of DTMF transmission:
INBAND in voice, In the voice channel using the voice
coding scheme currently in operation, IN-
BAND(RFC2833), In the voice channel using program-
mable DTMF payload types, following RFC2833, and
OUTBAND which is a Samsung proprietary method.
This parameter determines whether silence suppression
is used. This prevents transmission during the silence
period of a call, and conserves bandwidth when
enabled.
PCM input gain value of DSP. Drection is from PCM to
Packet. The range is 18~38 (-14 dB ~ +6 dB)
This set the quality of PCM voice from the VoIP DSP to
the site. Default is 32(0 dB).
This value selects the voice volume. Drection is from
Packet to PCM. The range is 18~38 (-14 dB ~ +6 dB)
Decides the minimum time to consider delay for jitter
adjustment.
