FIP-1.6 REGI. JAM (Jam or pick error)

Procedure
- Initial check -
Are there errors such as use of parts in different
specifications, attachment error, damage,
transformation, dirt, or foreign object?
- Major check parts -
FUSER ASSY CL CH (PL7.1.15), SENSOR EXIT
1 (mounted on the FUSER ASSY CL CH), SENSOR
ACTUATOR (mounted on the FUSER ASSY CL CH),
PWBA MCU XFABK(B) (PL9.1.25), GEAR ASSY
(PL7.1.1), ROLL ASSY REGI (PL4.1.35), ROLL ASSY
BTR (PL8.1.13), PLATE DT SAW (PL8.1.4), Drum/toner
cartridge (PL10.1.2), ROLL ASSY EXIT (mounted on
the FUSER ASSY CL CH)
Is curled paper used?

- Paper size check -
3 Is the paper size based on the specifications?
- GEAR ASSY check -
Does the CLUTCH REGI ROLL A gear, Drum/toner

cartridge gear, gear in the GEAR ASSY for the FUSER
ASSY CL CH of H/R GEAR rotate normally?
- ROLL ASSY REGI check -
Does the ROLL ASSY REGI and ROLL ASSY PRESS

rotate normally?
- CLUTCH REGI ROLL A check -
Does the CLUTCH REGI ROLL A function normally?

Select [REGI. ROLL CLUTCH TEST] on the
DIAGNOSTIC MODE MENU.
- CLUTCH REGI ROLL A check - *
Does the lead edge of paper pass through the ROLL
7 ASSY REGI unit at occurrence of this error?
Check the paper stop position and confirm that the
CLUTCH REGI ROLL A functions normally.
- ROLL BTR or Drum rotation check -
Does the lead edge of paper pass through the contact
between the ROLL BTR and Drum at occurrence of this

error?
Check the paper stop position and confirm that the
ROLL BTR and Drum function normally.
*: Do not absolutely touch the powered parts, high-voltage output parts, and driving parts for check.
