3. When the wheel begins to spin on its own, keep it
engaged until the wheel drives smoothly. (Minimum
2 minutes)
4. Check the hydraulic fluid level and add fluid as
required to maintain proper level.
5. Repeat this procedure on the opposite wheel.

Hydraulic Fan Pump Removal

Note: Cleanliness is a key factor in a successful
repair of any hydraulic system. Thoroughly
clean all exposed surfaces prior to any type
of maintenance. Cleaning all parts by using
a solvent wash and air drying is usually
adequate. As with any precision equipment,
all parts must be kept free of foreign material
and chemicals. Protect all exposed sealing
areas and open cavities from damage and
foreign material.

Upon removal, all seals, O-rings, and gaskets
should be replaced. Lightly lubricate all
seals, O-rings and gaskets with clean
petroleum jelly prior to installation.
1. Loosen the 4 bolts on the rear bumper assembly and
remove.
Note: DO NOT remove the bolts (Fig. 164).

2. Push down on the pump belt tensioner and remove
the drive belt from the pulley on the PTO clutch.
Remove the other end of the pump drive belt from
the hydraulic pump pulley (Fig. 165).

3. Loosen two hex set screws located on the hydraulic
pump pulley (Fig. 166).
