GENERATOR COVER
• Remove the generator cover.
• Remove the starter idle gear and its shaft.
GENERATOR ROTOR/STARTER CLUTCH
• Hold the generator rotor with the special tool and remove the
generator rotor bolt.

• Remove the generator rotor with the special tool.

GEAR POSITION SENSOR
• Remove the gear position sensor.
• Remove the switch contacts and the springs.
