BRAKE PADS
FRONT BRAKE
• The extent of brake pad wear can be checked by observing the
grooved limit line A on the pad. When the wear exceeds the
grooved limit line, replace the pads with new ones.

Replace the brake pads as a set, otherwise braking per-
formance will be adversely affected.
REAR BRAKE
• The extent of brake pad wear can be checked by observing the
grooved limit line A on the pad. When the wear exceeds the
grooved limit line, replace the pads with new ones.

Replace the brake pads as a set, otherwise braking per-
formance will be adversely affected.
BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT
• Loosen the locknut 1.
• Turn the push rod 2 until the brake pedal is 35 – 45 mm (1.4 –
1.8 in) A below the top of the footrest.
• Tighten the locknut 1 securely.
Rear brake master cylinder rod locknut:
Brake pedal height A:
Standard: 35 – 45 mm (1.4 – 1.8 in)
