Overview of the Web-based User Interface

The SMD 101 embedded web-based user interface pages provide the software user
interface for operating and configuring the SMD 101 streaming media decoder via a control
PC on the same network.

• Web browsers can only connect to the web-based user interface via HTTPS.
Attempts to connect via HTTP will be automatically redirected.
• The user interface screen shots in this user guide were taken using Google Chrome,
which is the recommended browser. Pages and panels viewed in other browsers
may not appear exactly the same.
• The SMD 101 embedded web pages are designed for viewing in a browser at
100% zoom. The appearance of individual pages can differ from those in this user
guide for other zoom ratios.
