Print Head Holder Does Not Move to the Position for Replacing

Is the POWER lamp off?
Check1
Check if the POWER lamp is lit.
The print head holder will not move unless the power is on. If the POWER lamp is off, close the top cover and
turn the printer on.
While the POWER lamp is flashing, the printer is initializing. Wait until the POWER lamp stops flashing and
remains lit, open the top cover again, then press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
Is the Alarm lamp flashing?
Check2
Close the top cover, confirm the number of times the Alarm lamp is flashing. After that, take the appropriate
action to resolve the error, reopen the top cover, then press the RESUME/CANCEL button. For details on how to
resolve the error, see
If an Error
Has the top cover been left open for 10 minutes or longer?
Check3
If the top cover is left open for more than 10 minutes, the print head holder moves to the position to protect it to
prevent the print head from drying out. Close and reopen the top cover, then press the RESUME/CANCEL
button to return the print head holder to the position for replacing.
Has the printer been printing continuously for a long period?
Check4
Close the top cover, reopen it after a while, then press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
If the printer has been printing continuously for a long time, the print head holder may not move to the position
for replacing since the print head may overheat.
Note
• Opening the top cover while printing moves the print head holder to the position to protect it. After
printing finishes, close the top cover, reopen it, then press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
