Throttle Cable Adjustment
1. Push the throttle link (A) t o w a r d the throttle lever
(B) until there is no clearance.

3. If deflection (A) is not w i t h i n spec ( 1 0 - 1 2 m m , 3/8
—1/2 in.), loosen the locknut (B), t u r n the adjusting
nut (C) until the deflection is as specified, then
retighten the locknut.
4. W i t h the cable properly adjusted, check the throttle
valve to be sure it opens fully w h e n you push the
accelerator pedal to the floor. A l s o check the
throttle valve to be sure it returns t o the idle
position whenever you release the accelerator
pedal.
