Radiator Fan Switch Test
NOTE: Bleed air f r o m the cooling system after installing
the radiator f a n switch (see page 10-10).
1. Remove the radiator fan switch f r o m the
t h e r m o s t a t cover (see page 10-2).
2. Suspend t h e radiator fan switch (A) in a container
of water as s h o w n .
3. Heat the w a t e r and check the temperature w i t h a
t h e r m o m e t e r . Do not let the t h e r m o m e t e r (B) t o u c h
the bottom of hot container.
4. Measure the continuity between the A terminal (C)
and B terminal (D) according t o the table.
