Configuring Codec Selection Order
VoIP dial-peer can basically possess system codeclist. System codec list is the
list including only with g729. Both codec and codec-list can be designated in
dial-peer and codec list gets priority.
Designating the order of codec in Voice class can make list. Designating this
list with either dial-peer or system codec list is possible.
The method to make codec list is as follows.

By using 'voice service codec-list' command, set the created voice class codec
with system global codec list. Using system global codec list, assign codec list
in dial-peer.

Purpose
Defines the codec for the dial peer.
Ptime means the time between frames
transmitted. The unit is msec and has the
value among 10/20/30/40/50/60(g711alaw,
g711ulaw, g726, g729), 30/60(g723r53,
g723r63)
Purpose
Creates a voice class for a codec
preference list. The range for the tag
number is from 1 through 10000.
The number must be unique on the router.
Configures the order of preference for
selecting a codec. Repeat this command to
specify the preferred selection order for
additional codecs, if required.
g723r53, g723r63 : 30/60
g711alaw, g711ulaw, g726, g729 :
