Ubigate iBG2016 Configuration Guide/Ed.00
Call Manager (Samsung Call Manager)
The Call Manager performs the call processing functions and interfaces with
Ubigate iBG2016 over the packet network using protocols such as SIP.
Call Manager interfaces with the packet network using SIP for call
management and processing.
One Call Manager performs the call processing functions for one or more
Ubigate iBG2016 systems.
IP Phone/Soft Phone
IP phone provides a generic voice call service over IP network.
IP phone, to support the basic calls and supplementary service, interfaces with
Call Manager using SIP Protocol(Samsung SIP Extension) which has a partial
extension from a standard.
Analog Phone/FAX
Analog phone is the terminal to provide a generic voice call via legacy analog
line. FAX is the terminal to provide a fax service via legacy analog line.
PBX, K/P
PBX or Key phone is the equipment to connect the in-house extension calls or
external calls in the legacy analog and digital method, instead of IP Network
method.
CLI/Web
It is the OAM interface provided by the Ubigate iBG2016 system, which can
control various OAM functions of Ubigate iBG2016, after accessing a Ubigate
iBG2016 via CLI or web from a desktop or notebook computer.
NMS
The Network Management System is used to manage Ubigate iBG2016 and
Call Manager devices in the network.
IVR/AA/VMS/UMS/Conference Server
It is an equipment to provide various services such as VMS, IVR, AA,
Conference which are not provided by Ubigate iBG2016 and Call Manager.
