Configuring Dial Plan Options for POTS Dial Peers
When dial plan is configured, the different option value should be possessed
depending on how dial plan is configured.
To configure optional feature about POTS dial peer, see the following
command.
incoming-called-number

Command
Purpose
When the timer(T) character is included at
the end of the destination pattern, the router
collects dialed
digits until the interdigit timer expires
(5 seconds, by default) or until you dial the
termination character(the default is #).
The timer character must be a capital T.
Maps the dial peer to a specific logical
interface.
The port command syntax is platform-
specific.
Purpose
(Optional) Selects the inbound dial peer
based on the called number.
(Optional) Enables the Direct Inward
Dialing(DID) call reatment for the incoming
called number.
(Optional) Configures the digit-forwarding
method used by the dial peer. The valid range
for the number of digits forwarded(num-digit)
is 0 through 32.
