5.1.5 Description of Adjustments

The following tables describes the general outline of the adjustments.

Adjusts the position of the Ink Mark Sensor so that the gap between the sensor and the platen becomes properly.
Adjusts the Cutter position and checks the paper cutoff position to optimize the gap between the cutter and the
bumps for the cutter.
Adjusts the attaching positions of the Paper Thick Sensor 1 and 2 so that the sensors can detect paper thickness
accurately.
Adjusts the tension of the CR Timing Belt to a specified level.
Adjusts the tension of the PF Timing Belt to a specified level.
Adjusts the position of the CR Scale in relation to that of the CR Encoder Sensor.
Adjusts the position of the PF Loop Scale in relation to that of the PF Encoder Sensor.
Checks if air leak is occurring or not in the ink path after replacing the Ink Tube, Ink Cartridge Holder or
Dampers, or after adjusting the Ink Cartridge Holder or Damper joints.
