    ❏ Place the printer on a desk. If you cannot place the printer on a desk, you will need the Stand. If you place your printer on a desk, follow the guidelines listed below. ❏ Choose a desk that can hold the printer weight (about 49 kg) and has a height of 600-800 mm from the floor.

    3. Lift the box up and away from the printer. Remove all the items from the hollow (A and B) on the rear side of the printer. Note: The ink cartridges included with your printer are primarily for initial setup.

    Mac OS X 10.2 or later Mac OS 9.x Using the Built-in USB Interface To connect the printer to a USB port, you need a standard shielded USB cable. To connect the printer to your computer using the built-in USB interface, follow the steps below.
