Digital Record/Playback (DRP) Files

The Digital Record/Playback feature enables conference operators and moderators to digitally
record and play conference dialog. The amount of digitally recorded conference dialog varies by
server and can is stored on the system's hard drive.
The system stores recording files in an external recording NFS server. The NFS server can be
in the same application server. This configuration limits the number of simultaneous recordings
to 30. However you can add a dedicated NFS server to the configuration to increase the
recording storage space. Generally,
The S6200 stores up to 770 hours of recordings.
l
The S6800 stores up to 770 hours of recordings, but may store more when an external
l
NFS server is configured with the server.
DRP files contain up to twelve hours of digitally recorded conference dialog. DRP files are
stored in the /usr3/confrp directory. DRP file names, specified by operators when they initiate
conference recordings, can consist of up to eight alphanumeric characters. DRP file names
specified by moderators (in attended or unattended conferences) can consist of up to eight
numeric characters. Files names must be unique.
