Specifying Flex-DAPI Channels

To specify the number of FDAPI channels to use for auxiliary functions:
1. Select System Maintenance Main > FDAPI Configuration.
The system displays the Flex-DAPI configuration screen which corresponds to the transport
protocols installed on the system.

2. Enter the number of operator, record/playback, link, and music channels you want to
specify. Refer to

Field / Auxiliary Function
Operators / Operator voice channels — For operator audio paths, the
number of operator audio paths lines.

Rec/Play / Record/playback channels — The number of lines
assigned to conference recording and playback over analog channels.
Digital Record lines do not use an FDAPI channel. Off-bridge
Recording devices also do not use an FDAPI channel. They use
revenue channels.
Note: The S6200/S6800 does not support analog record/playback
channels.
