Operator Audio Paths

Operator audio communication with the system is typically supported on FDAPI Operator
channels (see
Configuring the FDAPI
limitations for a system with a single network trunk or a faulty FDAPI channel for example) you
may have to transfer an operator's audio path from an FDAPI channel to a revenue channel to
maintain operator audio support for attended conferences.
This section describes how to:
configure operator audio paths on revenue (non-FDAPI) channels
l
set entry and exit tone parameters for operator terminals
l
To configure and operator audio path:
1. Select System Administrator Main > Configurations > Operator Configuration.
The system displays
channels configured for the system.

2. Enter the number of the operator channel you want to configure from this range. That is, you
specify the number of the channel that supports the workstation's audio path. You must
enter a value that falls within the specified range.
3. Once you Configure the Operator Audio Path, the system displays the
Configuration. It indicates the operator number and the FDAPI channel number.
