Call Routing Configuration
The Call Routing feature provides automated processing of incoming calls based on DNIS and
DDI parameters. The system collects the digits dialed on a channel, matches them to an entry
in a call branding table that you configure, then processes the call automatically according to
your specifications in the table. Call routing can be applied to all dial-in calls (direct, coded,
attended). It is not used for dial-out calls. The call routing process enables more efficient
handling of calls. For example, on attended lines the call branding entry for each call includes a
line name that lets the operator determine which conference to place the caller from the Enter
queue.
Note:
The Call Routing feature does not specify digit collection parameters for DNIS
