Reservation Features

This section describes features offered for all reservations (subscriptions). The moderator's
(leader's) preferred settings for these features apply to all conferences posted for the duration
of a subscription.

Entry and Exit Announcements

The Entry and Exit Announcements may be set to Message (if recorded), Tone, or Silence. Do
not select Tone & Message; this feature does not apply.
When you set the Entry/Exit Announcement to Message, enable Music (turn off Quick Start), the
system mutes participants entering the conference and plays music to those participants on
hold and waiting for a leader to enter the conference. Once the leader joins the conference, the
system announces all participants who joined prior to the leader in the order they entered the
conference. After the leader enters, the system immediately announces participants who join
the conference.
Note:
In Flex conferences, the system automatically prompts each caller dialing into the
Note:
conference to enter a Leader PIN code. When a caller enters a valid Leader PIN,
the system defines this caller as a moderator or "leader" of the conference. After
the leader joins the conference, the system only prompts for participant
passcodes and registers all subsequent callers as participants.
If you disable music (turn on Quick Start), the system allows participants to join the conference
before the leader arrives.
