Blast Dial Parameters
The Blast Dial Configuration option enables you to specify how the system processes blast dial
calls. In a blast dial, the system simultaneously dials an entire list of phone numbers to establish
a conference. When conferees answer the call, the system prompts them to press specific digits
on their telephones to join the conference without operator assistance.
To configure blast dial parameters:
1. Select System Administrator Main > Configurations > Blast Dial Configuration.
The system displays

2. Specify the parameters you want.

Description
The number of channels (1 to 16) the system simultaneously
dials during a blast dial. The default is 8 channels.
Dialing channels in groups with a short pause between each
group prevents flooding the network with calls. (The Blast
Delay parameter specifies the pause between blast dials.)
The number of seconds (0 to 60) the system pauses before
dialing the next group of channels in a blast dial.
The default is 2 seconds.
