1. Create a directory on the remote host for storing the database files (for example, \dbase).
2. Start an ftp session with s1100_a.
$
ftp s1100_a
The system displays the message:

3. Use the guest login by typing

4. Enter a password by typing

5. At the ftp> prompt, change to the directory containing the files to be transferred by typing:
cd /usr/dcb/dbase/admin

6. Verify that you are in the correct directory by typing pwd.
