System Shutdown

A system shutdown terminates system processes.
To shut down the system:
1. Select System Maintenance Main > System Shutdown.
The system displays the

During the shutdown process, the following message displays:
System Shutdown in progress.
Please stand by...
System shutdown may take several minutes. When the shutdown completes, the system
displays the following message on the console:
The system is now ready to be powered off, or hit any key to
reboot.

You should not perform a System Shutdown remotely because you will not be
