Configuring Avaya IP Agent for VPN configurations
If you are using a VPN, you may need to specify a local IP address for proper network
communication. Set this address through the Login Settings dialog box.

Steps
To set the local IP address for a VPN configuration:
1. Start Avaya IP Agent.
Windows displays Avaya IP Agent and the Login window.
2. In the Login window, select the Settings button.
Avaya IP Agent displays the Settings dialog box.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
Avaya IP Agent displays the Advanced tab panel:
Use of a VPN is not supported with Avaya IP Agent for Windows Terminal
Services.
