If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.
For example, if ECM is switched on but is not wanted when sending to a
particular terminal, use the (0, 0) setting.
• V.8/V.34 protocol and JBIG compression are automatically disabled
if ECM is disabled.
• If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.
COMMENTS
Switches MH compression on and off for files attached to e-
mails for sending.
Switches MR compression on and off for files attached to e-
mails for sending.
Switches MMR compression on and off for files attached to e-
mails for sending.
Do not change these settings.
The "0" selection (default) references the settings for Bits 00,
01, 02 above. The "1" selection ignores the selections of Bits
