Installing the Md4/PCI Board in a PC
To support VGA display with another VGA board
To support VGA with another VGA board, you must dis-
able VGA mode on the Md4/PCI board. See "To disable
VGA mode" on page 26.
When you install the Md4/PCI board in a computer with
an existing VGA board, only one of the boards can run at
a time, which causes one board to run in high resolution
and the other to run in VGA mode only. This results from
a limitation in the software operating system.
Enabling and disabling VGA mode
This table shows the setting options for switch S1. Change
these settings to enable or disable VGA mode, as described
in the following sections.
