12. When the >>> console prompt appears, you can safely
turn off the power to your system.

To add or remove display boards

1. Insert or remove the boards. If you are installing an
Md4/PCI board, follow the instructions in "Installing
the Board in a Digital UNIX Workstation" on page 122.
2. Turn on power to the workstation again.
3. Boot the system by typing:
>>>boot
4. If you have problems booting with the new kernel, see
"Booting problems with the new kernel" and "Unin-
stalling the kit" on page 121.
