If your floppy disk device is not
substitute the name of your floppy disk device
where you see
different mount directory from
that directory when you mount the disk.
3. Mount the disk with this command:
# mount -r /dev/fd0c /mnt

To determine the kit name

Before you load the kit, you must determine the kit name,
in case you experience any problems with the installation.
You must know your kit name if you have problems
booting, or if you want to uninstall the driver kit. In the
commands for booting in single-user mode and uninstall-
ing the kit, you must replace the string
name of the kit.
You can determine the kit name in these ways:
• Check the diskette label for the name.
• Perform a directory listing on the diskette.
To perform a directory listing
To perform a directory listing, you must have mounted the
diskette on
To perform a directory listing, type:
# ls /mnt
The system responds with the mounted directory, for
example:
DOMMDPCI100 instctrl
The sample kit name is
. Similarly, if you use a
/dev/fd0c
as described in step 2 on page 114.
