Installing the Md4/PCI Board in a Digital UNIX Workstation
Using the DOME board with an existing VGA board
If you want to use another board as the VGA console,
you must disable VGA mode on the Md4/PCI board. See
"To disable VGA mode" on page 128.
Enabling and disabling VGA mode
This table shows the setting options for switch S1. You can
change these settings to enable or disable VGA mode.

To enable VGA mode
You must enable VGA if you are using the Md4/PCI board
to support VGA. To use this port, you must install the
Md4/PCI board in a 64-bit slot that has been configured for
a DOME PCI board. See "Supporting VGA with the
Md4/PCI board" on page 125.
