Chapter 2
To set single-channel grayscale
Grayscale monitors do not use the red and blue video
output channels. When red and blue output is sent to a
grayscale monitor, it can cause screen interference. The
DOME driver provides a single-channel grayscale option to
eliminate this screen interference by disabling video output
to the red and blue video channels.
DOME recommends that you set the Single-channel
Grayscale option if you are using a grayscale monitor.
Setting palette options
You can set palette options through the DOME tab. In the
Windows NT 4.0 operating system, the Md4/PCI board
supports these palette options:
• Color
• Dynamic gray
• Static gray
• Nonlinear static gray
