3. Mount the disk with this command:
# mount -r /dev/fd0c /mnt

Determining your kit name

Before you load the kit, you must determine the kit name.
You must know the kit name in case you have problems
booting the computer, or if you want to uninstall the driver
kit. In the commands for booting in single-user mode and
uninstalling the kit, you must replace the string
with the name of the kit.
To determine your kit name
• Check the diskette label for the name.
• Perform a directory listing on the diskette.

To perform a directory listing, you must have mounted the
diskette on
To perform a directory listing, type:
# ls /mnt
The system responds with the mounted directory, for
example:
DOMMDPCI100 instctrl
The sample kit name is
as described on Step 2 on page 110.
