Routine maintenance procedures

Testing wrist strap grounding cords

Use this procedure to verify wrist strap grounding cord resistance. The

resistance must be low enough to allow static electricity to discharge from

the person. Resistance must be high enough to prevent electrocution if the

equipment develops a short-circuit while the person wears the wrist strap.

Perform this procedure in one month intervals.
