A software upgrade is a functional extension. An update (software patch) is an internal
change designed to correct issues, fix defects, or otherwise minor improvements to
performance without changing the software's basic design, structure or functionality.
NOTE:
As of Software 2.0.0_C2 DRYSTAR 5302 and DRYSTAR AXYS use the same
software.
11.1

New Feature of Software 2.1.0_C2

Software 2.1.0_C2 supports new hardware (Devius module, Tyndal module, SATA
hard disk) for DRYSTAR 5302 and DRYSTAR AXYS, which was introduced
in Q IV 2010.

Software 2.1.0_C2 is downwards compatible, so it also supports the actual
hardware (Devil module, Themis module, SCSI hard disk).
It replaces software 2.0.0_C3.

The new software has no other new features except support of new hardware.
The controlled version of this document is available from the Agfa HealthCare Library. Any printed copy of this document is uncontrolled.
