Notes:
1. Ground conductor should be the same size
as the largest conductor run between the
transformer and the AC panel.
2. Transformer (dedicated for Meridian and
Telco Interface Equip) can be either a
single phase 120/240 or a three phase
208Y/120 and must have a system ground
conductor and should be120/240 or 480 to
208Y/120.
3. Receptacles: All 120V service drops in the
Equipment room must have IG type
receptacles. Each circuit must have
individual hot, neutral and ground
conductors.

4. NEMA numbers for ground receptacles are:

120 @ 15 A IG-5-15
5. Dedicated service panel must be located in
the equipment room.
6. Required by Canadian Electrical Code: other
electrical codes may not.
7. Bonding conductor is enclosed in same
raceway/conduit cable containing conductors
as per CEC 10-906(9).
8. A "Dirty Ground Bus" is not a mandatory
requirement in the Meridian AC Service
Panel. If this type of bus is installed,
connections must be limited to non-Meridian1
auxiliary equipment.
