Chapter 19 – Connecting an external alarm
• Enter the DN of the line assigned as an alarm port in response to
the prompt ALDN.
Note: If the assigned DN is inadvertently called the alarm will activate.
To avoid false alarms, make sure that the DN is not consistent with the
assigned numbering plan.
• Press return in response to the remaining prompts.
