13.2 Flexible assignments in Excel import
Introduction
The user has the flexibility to map the required columns from the excel worksheet to the
corresponding objects or attributes in PAA and can customize and save the configuration for
later use. The user can also load the saved configuration file, delete the existing configuration
file or create a new configuration file which gives the user more flexibility while using the "Excel
import" plugin. See also Objective of Excel import (Page 71).
Column mapping
The following mapping classes can be mapped in the "Column mapping" area of the plugin as
shown in the image below.
● TH
● CM
● HW
● Signal
● Parameter
Note
● For using the mapping labels/properties of Signal and Parameter, selection of "Library file"
is mandatory.
● You can also add new values for the properties in the standard table based on your
attributes.
● Mapping labels of Parameter are fetched from the Library file. All others are directly fetched
from the standard table.
Mapping classes, mapping labels and properties table
The Standard tables contain the mapping classes in the path "Standard tables > Y10 > X01 >
A10 > X01N00023" and mapping labels and the respective properties table are under this
mapping classes.
