Export from PAA to PCS 7

17.1

Selective transfer

To transfer specific TH folders or CM/EM instances, proceed as follows:
1. Open the Import/Export dialog.
2. Find the field "Selective transfer > Selected PH/CM/EM"
3. Select several instances or folders in the DCS structure.
The following types are permitted: Hierarchy folder, CM/EM template / ACM template and
CM/EM instances
4. Transfer these by drag&drop.
5. Take into account that the filter options are adapted automatically. If appropriate, select
others.
6. Start the export using the "Export" button.
Result
The export can be performed as a direct export (PCS 7 project) or into an XML file.
17.2

Transfer of the S7 unit

The user can enter the technological name of a unit in a CM instance in PAA.
This unit is transferred automatically into the corresponding integer value (according to IEC
61158) during the transfer to PCS 7.
