14.9 Hardware engineering with the configuration tool
5. Do all the required I/O configuration in the "I/O configuration" area depending on the I/O
module to be configured.
Note
● A module can only be selected once.
● Refer the tables below for more information.
– Common I/O settings (All I/O modules)
– Standard I/O settings (ET 200M, ET 200iSP, ET 200SP HA, ET 200SP)
– Failsafe I/O settings (ET 200M, ET 200iSP, ET 200SP)
– ET 200PA SMART and ET 200M I/O configuration (ET 200PA SMART)
6. Click on the "Create" button.
After the slave is created, a message with the amount of created stations or errors or
warnings are shown in the status window at the bottom.
Note
If the "Create" button is pressed a second time a new station is created.
