structures as shown in the image below.

Note
● If a GSD file is imported into "@Local" node and in the base object, the GSD device in the
"@Local" node will have highest priority when it is imported, for example, from PCS 7.
● The importer imports only for one language (English as primary language). The exchange
to PCS 7 in a different language is possible, but the descriptions / object names will be
written in the selected language which may be not accurate.
Result
The devices are imported and the objects are created under the specified target node. The
modules, slots and subslots will be created in different strutures.

Exchanging GSDML between PAA and PCS 7

Import / Export GSDML objects
It is possible to Import / Export the GSDML objects between PAA and PCS 7. Any instances of
GSDML objects which are imported using the GSDML importer under the folder "@50 > A20"
at base object or "@Local" in engineering project can be transfered to PCS 7 or received from
PCS 7 with Automation Interface either directly or via XML file.
