After executing the query, you can export the signal and parameter list to an excel file using the
"Export data..." icon on the toolbar of the plugin menu.

Importing Technological hierarchy (TH)

Purpose
To import only the TH into PAA. Once the import is done using the "Excel import" plugin, TH
levels are created below the structure object as defined in excel file by the user.
Procedure
1. Open the "Excel import" plugin.
See also, Objective of Excel import (Page 71).
2. Map the attributes of the Hierarchy folder in the "Column mapping" area as per the user
defined excel file.
You can import "Hiearchy name", "S88 type deifintion", "Author" and "Description".

● "Hierarchy name" attribute is mandatory to be mapped.
● Maximum 8 levels of hierarchy folders can be created under the DCS structure.
● If the value of the "S88 type definition" attribute is not defined in the excel file, then the

Result
The TH folders are created below the DCS structure as per the column mappings in the user
defined excel file.

Importing CM

Purpose
To import CM, CM variants, ACMs and station assignments for multiple stations. So the user
can create the CM instances in bulk and engineering is done faster.
