5. Click the "Start SIMATIC WS Bundle online configurator" button to do online configuration.
Note
The system should be connected to the internet to do online configuration using "Start
SIMATIC WS Bundle online configurator".
6. Select all other required components from the "Additional items" area.
7. Click on the "Create" button.
Note
If the "Create" button is pressed a second time a new station is created.
Note
Select "Update Configuration" from the context menu of the created WS Bundle hardware to
update the configuration, after adding/modifying the components in the hardware.
Result
The configured WS Bundles are created under the selected target object.

Configuring PCS 7 Box using HW configuration tool

Procedure
The HW configuration tool is used to configure the WS Bundle and described as below:
1. In the menu bar, select the "Plugins > Automation > PCS 7 interface > "HW configuration
tool" command or click the icon on the toolbar.
The "HW configuration tool" plugin opens.
2. Select the "PCS 7 Box" tab.
3. Drag&drop the target object from the Navigator to the "Target Object" field in the "Set
location as owner" area.
4. Click the "Start SIMATIC PCS 7 Box online configurator" button to do online configuration.

The system should be connected to the internet to do online configuration using "Start
SIMATIC PCS 7 Box online configurator".
