Procedure
1. Select the "Locations" tab.
2. Right-click on the project node and select "New < QRY-HW Query folder " command in the
context menu.
3. The "QRY-HW Query folder" is created including the "DCS HW object view" and the
"Queries for HW engineering" folders at the second level under the project node and the
structure is shown in the image below.
4. Right-click on the "QRY-HW Query folder" node and select "New < User defined queries"
command in the context menu.
5. The "User defined queries" folder is created and the structure is shown in the image below.
Note
Only two levels of user defined queries can be created.
DCS HW object view
The "DCS HW object view" has the following query elements:
● Profibus slaves
● Profinet slaves
Note
Start object(s)
The "Start object(s)" field is empty by default and the user can drag&drop the desired object.
Profibus slaves
The "Profibus slaves" query collects all Profibus slaves.
For example, ET 200 stations (support Profibus), GSD Profibus devices, DP/PA Link and so on.
