Updating usages / instances

Initial situation
A template that is used in your engineering project has been changed.
Aim
The usages derived from the template should incorporate the changes. Important data for the
configuration from the old objects can be retained or overwritten in the engineering project.
You can first carry out the resulting changes in a working layer to better check the effects.
Requirements
You have read rights in the "@Template" node.
Procedure
1. Select the "Plugins > Automation > Templates > Assembly updater" command in the menu
bar:
2. In the "@Template" node, navigate to the template object - the object under which the
template is located.
3. Drag the template object into the "Refreshed template" field.
Changes that are relevant for the updating of the instances are evaluated and displayed
automatically. The owner of the engineering task who generated the instance is displayed
for each instance.
4. Click the "Refresh" button.
5. Confirm your entries.
