Importing Signal Values - Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 Operating Manual

Prerequisites
● PCS 7 Library with CMTs needs to be imported to PAA project (For example,
BPCMT_Lib_V1.0)
● If needed then CMT Variants can be created via the "Type configurator" plugin
● If AS assignment on CM is needed, then the corresponding S7 400 station is needed
● Library file must be created and mapping labels are set based on the PCS 7 library and the
example of import signal list (for example, in MonAn Control Module, "PV_AH_En" is the
Parameter which has Mapping label as "EN-HL3" in the "BPCMT_Lib_V1.0" library)
Procedure
1. Open the "Excel import" plugin.
2. Configure the TH, CM and HW as per the user defined excel file.
3. Configure and map the required Parameter attributes in the "Column mapping" tree.
"Value", "Comment", "Enumeratiom", "Text 0", "Text 1" and "Operation identifier" attributes
can be mapped.
4. Click "Import".
Note
Signal and Parameter
The Signals and Parameters directly under CM and also under SubCM of CMTs can be
imported. If there are some write protected attributes in Signal/Parameter to be imported, then
also the import is not interrupted.
Result
The CMs with the all the mapped Parameters are imported.

To configure and import the Signal values of CMs.
