■
Be sure to make a backup copy of the data and to perform a
Consistency Check before starting the Reconstruction.
■
The Reconstruction is disabled in a configuration where sev-
eral virtual disks are defined in one disk group
■
During the Reconstruction, the processing rate is decreased
due to the high load.
■
The Reconstruction can be performed for the degraded or
partially degraded virtual disk. However, we recommend you
first execute a Rebuild to recover the virtual disk, then exe-
cute Reconstruction.
■
During the Reconstruction, do not shutdown or reboot the
server. If the server is shutdown by an unforeseen accident
such as power interruption, power on again as soon as pos-
sible. The Reconstruction restarts automatically.
■
In some configurationa, the Background Initialize may start
automatically once the Reconstruction is completed.
