Function
Used to fix or release the media.
Lower the lever to fix the media.
Lower the lever further to fix the media more firmly. Used to improve the
accuracy of media feeding.
Raise the lever to release the media.
Operation condition setting, printer display and various function settings are
performed.
Used to prevent that a user comes in contact with the driving mechanism during
the printer operation. Opened and closed when media is set or jammed. It is
normally closed.
To install the printer on a levelled floor.
Used to feed the media smoothly when the media is set or printed. The printer
has also an incorporated heater (after heater) to dry the ink.
Installed inside of the front cover.
The heater (platen heater) to dry ink is installed.

These media retainers will keep the media edges flat onto the printer. This to
prevent a crash of the moving print head with the media.
